Our mission is to safeguard Christian presence in the Holy Land of Lebanon by providing rural families' basic needs and their children's faith-based education.
Who We Are
ACDEF is a Lebanese non-profit organization founded in 2021 by Carmelite Father Raymond Abdo in direct response to the devastating crisis which continues to torment the country since 2019. A group of professionals volunteered to support this effort to safeguard the community's hope and dignity.

Our Projects
Rural Christian Schools
Christian communities in Lebanon are served by Catholic schools, especially in rural areas. These are our partners and community hubs, safeguarding children's faith, health and education.
The School Meal Project
Many children come to school without a lunchbox. Our first school meal project served Kindergarteners with a nutritious daily serving. This project is now set for scale-up.
Direct Family Support
Through our community partners and direct contact with families, we assess needs and provide direct support, including food and work, to keep families together within a resilient community.
